Bearings of this kind are classified into four-row cylindrical roller bearings and two-row cylindrical roller bearings. These bearings have high radial bearing capacity but having no axial force bearing capacity. They are featured by small radial size and high limit speed. Due to the absence of inner ring ribs, inner and outer ring assemblies (with a whole set of rollers and cage) can be mounted separately.
For all kinds of frequently changed cold and hot rolling mills, bearings of this kind have such strong points as large radial bearing capacity, high rotating accuracy and convenient assembly and disassembly. Therefore, they are applicable to working rollers or backup rollers on all cold and hot rolling mills and roughing mills, etc.
