Bearings of this kind can be used together with four-row cylindrical roller bearings in working rollers of fast mills to restrict the axial movement of working rollers. They can also be used as the locating bearings of working rollers when filmatic bearings are used as radial support bearings.
Bearings of this kind can support bigger axial loads compared with four-point contact ball bearings. They are classified into two types, namely piece outer ring and piece inner ring according to mounting requirement.
